On Saturday 2nd April 11 members took part in 5 locations across the country. Mark Hawkings travelled the furthest this week and got a post-Covid PB down at Land’s End. Lincoln, Newark, Belton House and Belvoir Castle all had members running at them.

Saturday 11th April - 21 members ran parkrun, not just in this country, but the prize for the furthest travelled was Sue and Steve Needham who travelled to Italy and ran the Treviso parkrun. Other parkrun events that had members running at were Colwick, Newark, Clumber Park, Belton House, Doddington Hall and Belvoir Castle.

Events:
Sue and Steve Needham have clocked up the mileage the last couple of weeks - on the 2nd April they travelled to Prague to compete in the Prague half marathon. Sue completed this in 2hr 31:38 and Steve completed this in 2hr 10:23. The following weekend they both competed in the Venice night run, they completed this in 2hr 25:26.
Also running the Venice night run, which comprised of 51 bridges along the 16K route was Angela Brown, Annette Taylor, Jacqui Walton and Caroline Upton.

On the 3rd April Nick Harrison took on the Manchester marathon and smashed his PB, smashing 1hr 4 minutes of the last time he ran the Manchester marathon and this was his fastest marathon time by 11 minutes. Well-done Nick, great running!

Breeze Rowlands took on her first LDWA challenge taking on the Woldsman 50. Breeze completed this is in a time of 16hr 37:11.
