7 members ran parkrun last Saturday. Steve and Sue Needham have been collecting the air miles again, travelling to France to run Des Dougbnes parkrun, both completing this in 35mins 45 seconds. Amy and Richard Borrill ran at Belton House with Dad Richard pipping Amy at the finish line finishing 1 second quicker, I’m sure you can beat him Next time Amy! Jayne Wheway, John Miller and Mark Hawkings ran at Newark.

Chris Redhead travelled to the lake district to take part in “The Lap” – this was a complete lap of lake Windermere 47 miles in total with over 10,000 feet of elevation. Chris finished this in a very respectful time of 13hrs 50mins and 35 seconds. Well done Chris that was a great achievement!

Netty competed in the Nottinghamshire county T&F championships. Netty ran the 3000 meters in a PB time of 13:28 and earned herself a bronze medal. She also ran the 800 meters and also got a PB.

One result that was missed from the week before was Caroline Upton completing in the Wye Valley Ultra, this was a 36.5 mile route with a number of hills. Caroline completed this is 7hrs 32.
