Parkrun – 28th May
25 club members ran across 5 different parkrun’s on Saturday. 20 of them ran at Newark. 1st over the line at Newark was Simon Lock in a time of 21:39. We had a full turnout from the Borrill family with Amy coming in first at a time of 32:09. Well done Amy.
Up in Scotland Nick Harrison ran Portobello Parkrun in Edinburgh in a time of 35:58
Jayne Wheway travelled to Somerset and ran along the sea front at Burham and Highbridge in a time of 27:23
Belton house was run by Mike and Ann Manley – Mike completed this is 24:54 and Ann in 27:11
Netty ran at Watermead parkrun in a time of 29:26.

Parkrun in May:
44 members ran at least 1 parkrun during the month
14 different locations were represented by members of the club
The quickest time was 21:39 by Simon Lock at Newark
The average time to compete a parkrun over the month was 34:12
Total distance ran by club members at parkrun in May was 375KM/233 miles

Other running:
David Haynes travelled to Edinburgh to complete in his fist official marathon completing this in 3hrs 47. Well done David.
Also in Edinburgh was Nick Harrison who ran in the half marathon completing this is 2hrs 23.

On Sunday Netty ran at the Notts track and development league competing in the 1500m, 5000m and the 800m. Netty manged 2 x PB’s this week – well done Netty!

June is here tomorrow, there are 4 Saturdays so how many can complete all 4 Parkruns?
